I have created a search function for eCMS. It will search for posts, pages, files individually or do an entire search for all sections. There is a limitation of searching for files/posts by author that I am still deciding on the best approach to deal with. One option is to inner join database tables but I really don't like doing that. Another is to include the actual name of the author in the database along with the id number. I would just have to update the various tables if the nickname is changed. There is also the issue of many users preferring to use unicode names which is only a very minor issue. (...)

I have added a file management system to the eCMS. I took what I learned from building the file management system on TG007.net and improved it. I will be adding files that interest me to the system. I don't feel the need to allow memberships on this website. ( Even though it does support it ). I also do not want to just create a system that allows commenting without some sort of checks and balances to cut down on spammers. Instead of wasting a lot of time creating my own I've decided to give the Disqus system a try.
The basic system is free and I think it should cover my needs without having to purchase a plan. I will continue to give updates on the system and the pros and cons I find. It is very simple to install. You simply go to their site and register and they will provide you a small snippet of coding to add to your website to display the comments. (...)
I've found a few hours to continue work on my new content management system. Tonight I spent most of my time coding the gallery system that allows me to insert a gallery of images into a post or page. The control panel of websites I build are always my favorite part. They are the most unseen portion of my work, but the people that use them always seem very impressed. I will include a sample of a gallery insert in this post. The gallery shows a few screen captures of my control panel. More to come!

Under Construction
There isn't much to see at the moment. I am working on a new improved E-CMS system. The system isn't meant to be released to the public. It's just to help me when creating new client websites. It is also to help me catch up to the latest in design trends including various frameworks. I will also start blogging again once I get the system to a feature-rich place.
