End of an era: hawkee.com closes
The dreaded day has finally arrived. Hawkee.com has closed. For years it was a valued resource for irc snippets. Sadly the past few years saw the site taken over by spam bots. I know efforts were made to buy the system but didn't seem to ever get very far. Several people also offered to moderate the site but again nothing came of it. Seeing another of the irc support sites go by the way side is very disappointing. I really hope all those snippets aren't lost forever.
